Mitch and I may have just accomplished the perfect weekend. We some how managed to find the perfect balance between being productive, being lazy, and enjoying each other's company. So here is the recipe for a perfect weekend:
~Test drive vehicles without any pressure to buy
~Roam the mall without any real "needs" but be satisfied when you find a sweater and a pair of jeans
~say good-bye to the phone that has been with Mitch the entire time we have been together which has been 5 YEARS and get him a wonderful matching smartphone to the beauty that I got a few weeks ago
~Clean the house in short bursts
~Use a gift card to go out to dinner, it is way more fun when you aren't the ones paying for it
~Spend parts of each day with my brother and his dog....being around animals has its way of making me so calm and happy
~challenge Mitch to a game of raquetball
~Do enough laundry to have clean underwear for the week, and don't stress out about the rest of the laundry that has yet to be done
~make an awesome Pioneer Woman dinner to be shared with the one I love
~make everyone happy by planting ourselves on the couch to roam the internet/watch football
Happy Weekend everyone! I am rejuvenated and ready to head back to work in the morning to see all my little lovies at school!

I am in Love
I am in love. I am in love with technology. I realize the rest of the world got smart phone like 3 years ago but I just got mine and it is offically the greatest thing every invented. Here are a few examples of why this is the greatest thing around.
On Thursday I met Benny at his work to head to an appointment we had at 5:30. I got to his work at 4:30 as I sat in the parking lot waiting for him to get done with work I sent e-mails, checked facebook, read some blogs, and returned a phone call and a couple of text messages.
Once our appointment was over we were attempted to schedule our next appointment. I was able to open up my calendar through gmail and know at that very moment what was in my calendar for 6 weeks from now.
On another day I went shopping with my Auntie Andrea and Uncle Jimmy. Andrea found a shirt she liked but didn't find the size she needed. I was able to use the bar code scanner to find a website that she could order it from.
The games on my phone are evening doing positive things for our relationship. Mitch and I have spent an entire evening sitting on the couch trying to pass levels of "Ball Buster." It has really created a nice "team" feeling between the two of us.
After I get home my beautiful phone needed to be charged and I was able to plug it into my nook charger. Universal chargers are the smartest thing in the world. I can now charge my phone and camera on my nook charger or my nook and my camera on my phone charger of my....you get the point. All my wonderful electronics on one handy dandy charger.
I love technology!
